Capital Asset Protection - Technical Services Partnership

Capital Asset Protection

Wally working on the LinacTechnical Services Partnership provides preventive maintenance and repairs for the most sophisticated and expensive medical equipment Ė imaging, ultrasound, sterilizers and laboratory equipment. These items are the highest revenue generating assets of an institution and are the most technically demanding and expensive to maintain. Equipment downtime causes painful patient delays and a significant negative impact on revenue.

TSPís Capital Asset Protection Partnership (CAPP) program is designed to ensure that your most critical medical equipment is operating at peak performance when it is needed by your patients and staff. The program also serves to maximize the utilization and revenue generating capacity of your highest value assets.

The CAPP program covers equipment that is traditionally covered under a specific service contract with the equipment manufacturer. It is designed to reign in the costs of equipment maintenance, repairs, and replacement parts. Specific services may be customized to meet your unique requirements and may include management, administration, and advisory services such as:

  • Centralized asset management including equipment information tracking and reporting using the HEMS(tm) system (maintenance history, parts usage, etc.)
  • Preventative maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution
  • Coordination of repairs and associated documentation
  • Guaranteed Cost
  • 24x7 emergency response

TSP has been providing CAPP services to health care organizations since 1992. This program has resulted in average customer savings of approximately 23% over manufacturer service contracts.
