The
Instrumentation and Model Facility (IMF) has developed a number of products
based on successful prototype instruments, parts and assemblies. They range from
commodity items such as PC boards for industry and small volume projects where
our skill in producing these items has led to a saleable product to broad
recognition of exceptional design and fabrication of myograph and arteriograph
instrumentation used all over the world. These instruments are custom designed
to suit the needs of life science researchers, the pharmaceutical industry, and
others. Items such as antibiotic bead molds are typically in stock for immediate
delivery. PC board design and fabrication requires a schematic with a variable
turnaround time based on complexity. Wireless sensor modules are our newest
product with options for common parameters such as temperature, pressure,
proximity and humidity with RF and infrared wireless and wired communications.
